We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote the holistic development of children, from cognitive skills to social-emotional growth.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with early childhood education standards.
Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and physical education, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
Foster communication skills by engaging children in conversations and encouraging expressive language.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
Conduct assessments and standardized testing as needed to monitor student progress.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to support child welfare and development at home.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management is highly desirable.
Experience in special education or early intervention programs is a plus.
Background in literacy education, toddler care, or preschool experience will be advantageous.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Experience in tutoring or teaching physical education can enhance the overall educational experience provided to students.
