Overview

Little Lions Daycare is a licensed and accredited childcare program located inside Braemar Baptist Church in Edmonton. We provide a warm, inclusive, and play-based learning environment that supports the holistic development of each child.

Duties

- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs.
- Monitor and assess children's progress to ensure developmental milestones are being met.
- Incorporate literacy education and interactive activities into daily routines.
- Provide care and support for toddlers in a daycare or private school setting.

Experience & Qualifications

- Previous experience in a classroom or daycare setting is required

-ECE Level 2 or 3 required

-Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector search required

-Current First Aid & CPR certification required
- Knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience with tutoring or teaching young children is a plus.

- Driver's license preferred

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
