Summary

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our passionate team . In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the experiences of young children, ensuring their development aligns with our mission of fostering a love for learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging program plans tailored to the developmental needs of each child. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and practices. Support children with special needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 Alberta Certification. First aid certification, Criminal Record Check and Early Intervention Proven experience working with young children Strong understanding of child development principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Organizational skills to maintain classroom order (preferred).
