We are hiring a On Call/Part Time Staff ECE's /ECEA's who will be responsible to provide quality, inclusive child care services for young children under 36 months in a group setting.

Qualifications:

A valid Early Childhood Education Certificate to practice A valid safety oriented first aid certificate A criminal record check clearance letter A Doctor's assessment of health (mental and physical) demonstrating your ability to supervise and care for children. Bilingual is an Asset

Experience :

Minimum Experience 6 months Fresh College Grads with practicum experience may apply Good Verbal and Written communication skills. Ability to lift upto 25-30lbs , and reach child freely in the daycare setting.

Duties and Responsiilities

Planning, carrying out, and assessing developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that promote the well-being of each child, and that respect and reflect the diverse needs of children. Knowledgeable in Early Childhood learning theories, teaching strategies , classroom management and guidance. Individualizing the curriculum and ensuring that all activities are accessible. Ensuring guidance of children's behaviour that encourages positive self-concept. Ensuring the child care environment is healthy and safe joy all children. Ensuring positive communication with parents/legal guardians. Contributing to the ongoing operation of the centre.
