Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. You will implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth of each child.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress. Collaborate with other educators and specialists to enhance the learning experience. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.

Skills

Valid ECE-EC or ECE-IT certification in British Columbia Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Current First Aid and CPR certification (an asset) Knowledge of another language is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
