Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The Early Childhood Teacher will work collaboratively with parents and staff to ensure each child's individual needs are met.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment through engaging activities that promote exploration and creativity. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's growth and development. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development. Support children with special needs, ensuring inclusive practices are integrated into the classroom. Maintain an organized classroom environment that is safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Utilize computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and support fellow staff members. Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities to balance multiple responsibilities effectively. Knowledge of special education practices is an asset for supporting diverse learning needs. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities or special needs. Classroom experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
