Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for all children Supervise and interact with children in a warm and engaging manner at all times Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom space Attend regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Qualifications:

Valid ECE License to Practice in BC Current First Aid and CPR Certification Clear Criminal Record Check A recent doctor's note confirming physical and mental ability to work with children Three professional reference letters Previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Team player with a heart for children Ability to work collaboratively and positively with team members
