We are a boutique education consulting and enrichment center located in Vancouver's Kerrisdale area. We are currently seeking a warm, creative, and experienced

Early Childhood Educator (ECE)

to join our team. This role focuses on supporting young learners' social, emotional, and cognitive development in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate learning activities for children aged 3-5 Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and curiosity Build trusting relationships with children and communicate effectively with families Monitor and document children's progress and developmental milestones Encourage language development, early literacy, and numeracy through play-based methods Guide positive behavior and promote social-emotional learning Collaborate with other educators and administrators to ensure high-quality programming

Qualifications:

Valid

ECE Certification

in British Columbia At least

3 years of experience

working with preschool-aged children in a licensed early childhood setting Strong understanding of

child development

and the

BC Early Learning Framework

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Patient, compassionate, and able to build rapport with both children and parents Legally eligible to work in Canada (valid work permit, PR, or citizenship) Must be able to work

in person in Kerrisdale (Vancouver West)

Preferred Assets:

Experience designing thematic or inquiry-based learning units Ability to integrate art, music, and storytelling into daily routines Bilingual abilities (e.g., Mandarin or French) are an asset but not required First Aid & CPR certification preferred

Working Hours:

Part-time, Weekends. Specific hours to be discussed during the interview.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and certification.

Starting at CAD 30 per hour
