Dalmeny Daycare Inc. is a non-profit corporation that offers childcare in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan. We are a small government licensed and subsidized centre that provides care to children from 18-months to 6 years old. We are located in the town of Dalmeny, just a short drive from Martensville, Warman, and Saskatoon. Our daycare is located in a brand-new facility and strives to provide high- quality childcare that supports the positive physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of young children. Dalmeny Daycare is seeking reliable, compassionate, and hands-on Early Childhood Educators to provide high quality care to children ages 18 months\xe2\x80\x936 years old. We are looking for ECEs with level I, II or III for our daycare centre! Applicants who do not have their ECE training, may still apply if they are willing to obtain their level I certification (tuition reimbursement available). Required Documentation:
Part-time hours: 8-40 per week Benefits:
- First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (current in the last 6 months)
- Must be legally eligible to work within Canada
- Provide a daily balance of active/quiet, indoor/outdoor, and individual/group activities.
- Plan and implement activities and programs that align with the philosophy of play and exploration.
- Maintain a close relationship with families and their children to promote a sense of family and exceptional customer service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide structure and safety within the room.
- Responsible for the constant supervision, safety and well-being of the children in the centre.
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
- Manage challenging behaviours as they occur with children in the centre.
- Prepare meals and snacks on occassion (the daycare has a full time cook).
- Complete cleaning duties and ensure proper sanitation of the daycare throughout the work day to comply with daycare and ministry regulations.
- Understand and comply with the Saskatchewan Child Care Act and Saskatchewan Employment Act
- Follow all policies and procedures as provided by the Board of Directors and Daycare Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
