Voyage Childcare Center

is now hiring a dynamic and experienced

Lead Educators, coverage and Seasonal Educators

for multiple classrooms including:

Must have a Level 1, 2 or 3 Childcare Certificate

Flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs.

Position Description Summary

:

Responsible for ensuring a safe environment for children while promoting the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.

Plan and implement and supervise a variety of activities for the children.

Interact with the children, taking part in active play activities.

Attend to children's personal needs: Change diapers, give bottles, and serve meals to the children

Ensure the safety and well-being of children, through supervision of activities.

Ensure cleanliness of room, toys and materials used in the classroom.

Provide parent communication (child's activities/behaviors for time in daycare).

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

Knowledge of "Learning Through Play" philosophy. Knowledge of child developmental stages. Knowledge of childhood diseases/health issues. Knowledge of activity programming.

Other:

Behavioral or disability training is an asset. We provide on site training and outsourced. Positive teamwork environment.
Job Type: part time 11:30am - 6:00pm

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour plus government top up.
