Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and possess the skills necessary to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills to support the developmental needs of each child while fostering a love for learning.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. Assess and monitor each child's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and classroom activities. Lead classroom activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Experience

A degree in Early Childhood Education (ECI. ECA or ECE) Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Proven leadership abilities within a classroom setting are beneficial. Excellent writing skills for documentation and communication purposes are necessary. Organizational skills to manage classroom materials, schedules, and student records effectively. Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Provide nurturing care and support to meet the individual needs of each child. Foster social-emotional and cognitive development, including communication skills, empathy, and self-confidence. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Observe and document children's progress and communicate effectively with families.

Pay: $16.00-$30.81 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
