We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring that each child receives the individual attention they need to thrive. The Early Childhood Teacher will work closely with parents and caregivers to support the educational journey of each child.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
Educate children in various subjects including language, math, science, and social skills.
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements or working persons with disabilities.
Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents on their development.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
Strong time management skills to effectively balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as French is a plus.
Familiarity with special education practices is desirable.
Ability to utilize technology for classroom management and lesson planning (computerise).
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and their families.
A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development.
