We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with Level 2/3 to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, is Montessori trained and shows a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Assess and document children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus. Strong background in childcare, or working with people with disabilities. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Effective teaching strategies tailored for early childhood education. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Classroom experience demonstrating leadership abilities in managing groups of young children. Strong time management and organizational skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
