Beddington Heights Before and After School Program is a dynamic, fast-paced, recreation-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality childcare to our local community. We foster a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and explore their interests.

We're seeking a

passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator

to join our team! We want to hear from you if you're enthusiastic, caring, and motivated to make a difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement fun, age-appropriate activities for school-age children Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment Supervise children during play, transitions, and mealtimes Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations Assist with administrative tasks such as daily logs and incident reports

Qualifications:

Early Childhood Educator Certificate (

required)

First Aid & CPR Certification (

preferred

, not required) Clear and current Police Security Clearance Must be at least

18 years old

Physically able to lift/carry up to

30 lbs

(due to equipment setup and takedown) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Shifts:

Morning:

6:45 AM - 9:00 AM

Afternoon:

2:15 PM - 6:00 PM

Full Days

available on Fridays and other non-school days (e.g., PD days, breaks) Particular need for Monday & Thursday shifts
Note: This is not a full-time position unless combined with full-day shifts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.30-$27.07 per hour

Expected hours: 18.75 - 30 per week
