Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational experiences. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including those of children with disabilities or special education requirements. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration. Maintain accurate records of children's development and behavior, providing feedback to parents as needed. Organize classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Supervise children during playtime and other activities to ensure safety and engagement. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Skills

Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus. Strong background in childcare, including experience working with young children in an educational setting. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities. Excellent teaching skills with an emphasis on early childhood education methodologies. Outstanding communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Proficient computer skills for classroom management and administrative tasks. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently. Leadership qualities to guide students in their learning journey. Effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities within the classroom. Writing skills for documentation and communication purposes. Pay: $15.00-$27.17 per hour
