Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood educators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and French, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Create a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the needs of all students, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports. Utilize computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication with families. Demonstrate leadership by guiding classroom activities and mentoring assistant teachers or interns. Ensure the safety of the children indoors, outdoors, community playground and during short trips.

Qualifications



Level 3, 2 and 1 in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Grade 12 diploma is accepted and should be willing to train for the above levels. Love and Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently. Time management abilities to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks. Classroom experience that demonstrates effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.25-$27.18 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
