Our team is growing, Briar Hill Children's Programs is seeking for Out of School Care professionals to join our team at our Mayland Heights location, which is located in the NE.We are a non-profit OSC program that can offer straight shifts, competitive salaries, group benefits, and professional development opportunities & funding.Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification Current first aid A current criminal record check, completed within the last 6 months, including a vulnerable sector searchPreference will be given to those who: Have experience working with children 6-12-year of age Can successfully plan and implement circle time activities Are flexible and Adaptable Can ensure the safety of the children and provide effective supervision Fluent in English Have basic computer skills, be able to use Microsoft Word Are organized Are willing to participate in continuous learning and professional development Can engage in physical activities with the children (Ex. Swimming, playing tag, basketball, etc.) Can lift 50lbs. Can set limits and lead a group of children independently Model best practices, appropriate interactions, and conflict resolution Has strong interpersonal skills Can work as a member of the team to plan and implement activities with the children and maintain a clean, safe environment.Government wage top up will be added to salary.Must have own transportation.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00-$18.00 per hourBenefits:
