Responsibilities/Skills:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of each child. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning environment. Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork, communication skills, and social interactions among children. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

What are we looking for:

Passion for working with children Team player with positive attitude Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care or Recreation and Leisure Services. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families and team members. Ability to follow directions. Flexible, dependable, caring and enthusiastic about the early years sector. Current First Aid/CPR is an asset along with a Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
