Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the lead educator in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for young children. You will help with daily routines, supervise play, and assist with activities that promote children's overall development. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is committed to helping them grow, learn, and thrive in an inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in delivering age-appropriate activities and play-based learning Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Supervise children during play, snack, lunch, and rest times Help guide positive behaviour and model respectful interactions Communicate clearly and professionally with children, families, and staff Assist in including and supporting children with special needs or diverse abilities

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting is an asset Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all children

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
