Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
Provide individualized support for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
Maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning and adheres to safety regulations.
Assess children's progress and development through observations and evaluations.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working in childcare or an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with children with disabilities is beneficial.
A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their developmental needs.
