Job Description

Employment terms:

We do not support LMIA an BCPNP

5 days a week:

Monday to Friday

25 hours a week. This is to work in School age group and as a float teacher

The qualifications:

Must have "BC ECE Assistant certificate" Must be minimum 19 years old Criminal Record Check 3 professional references Immunization record Fast-learner Good classroom management and organization skills

Responsibilities:

Daily set-up and clean-up Provide strong & direct supervision to children Ensure the health and safety of the children Work as part of the team, which includes children, their parents, and the centre staff members, using the philosophy of the centre Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment Participate in team meetings and professional development days Communicate effectively with parents and staff Maintain a safe, and positive learning environment for all children and their families Value and nurture the differences among all learners
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
