We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and promoting early learning skills. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a genuine love for working with children. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued to support diverse student needs. Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
Observe and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records
Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational activities and share best practices
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
Incorporate special education techniques when working with children with disabilities or additional needs
Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred
Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
Leadership qualities to guide and support young learners effectively
Classroom experience demonstrating effective teaching techniques
Computer operation skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication tools
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community partners
Relevant certifications or credentials in early childhood education are desirable
