Job Description

Inner Garden Education is a local early learning institution that has been serving our young children in Calgary since 2009. We provide bilingual daycare and dayhome services for children ranging in age from infancy to pre-kindergarten. Now we are seeking full-time Early Childhood Educators to join our team.

Job responsibilities:

Ability to learn and integrate the Alberta Early Learning Framework into our child care program by planning and implementing play-based activities to support children's learning and development. Build positive and supportive relationships with families, including sharing children's meaningful learning experience verbally and in writing on a daily basis, and engaging in family events, etc. Strong guidance skills for working with children in an inclusive environment. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, to multi-task, and to respond to children's needs while keeping awareness of the whole group. Physically able to lift up to 15 kg, and repetitively crouch, squat, sit on the floor, stand, and spend time with children outdoors. Consistently provide a safe and clean environment following all cleaning/sanitizing procedures. Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned, according to operational demands.
Qualifications:

Entry level experience for Alberta certified Early Childhood Educator Held a valid CPR and First Aid certificate Obtained a Police Information Check with vulnerable sector screening

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
