OVERVIEW Hecla owns the majority of the historic high-grade Keno Hill Silver District located in Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Yukon Territory. We\xe2\x80\x99re developing two underground deposits, the Bermingham mine and the Flame & Moth mine. This is a great opportunity to be part of the team that is operating one of the highest-grade silver operations in the world. We are looking for an individual to join our growing team. The E&I Supervisor will report to the Maintenance Manager/Superintendent, or other designate (your \xe2\x80\x9cSupervisor\xe2\x80\x9d). This is a 14 day on / 14 day off rotation at our Keno Hill Mine in Elsa, Yukon. All air and ground travel arrangements from POH (Point of Hire) to site and return are included for this position. RESPONSIBILITES

• Supervise, coordinate, and develop the E&I team across the Keno Hill mine site (surface and underground)
• Ensure that all work is performed in a manner that conforms to all site safety policies and procedures while recognizing personnel who consistently meet or exceed expectations
• Develop audit systems for site electrical infrastructure and corresponding preventative maintenance programs
• Execute scheduled maintenance with a high level of schedule compliance
• This role undertakes electrical planning accountabilities across the operation
• Proven ability to scope and sequence a job, quote/order materials and schedule manpower
• Develop safe work procedures and provide technical/operational input into maintenance procedures and systems
• Assist or support during trouble shooting, find or propose solutions to solve problems
• Schedule personnel rotations, performance reviews, administer vacation and disciplinary issue in accordance with company policies and standards
• Undertake the planning and execution of electrical infrastructure construction projects
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure electrical systems are aligned with site requirements
• Communicate key activities to direct reports and senior managers

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician Interprovincial Read Seal is required
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience \xe2\x80\x93 underground mining and processing electrical and instrumentation supervision
• Significant experience working on CMMS \xe2\x80\x93 this role includes significant job planning within the company CMMS system
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Extensive, proven expertise in Electrical Code
• Valid drivers\xe2\x80\x99 license

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Self-directed and highly independent with ability to support operational reports
• Must have strong organization and leadership skills
• Superior communication with peers, supervisors, and management
• Extensive experience with the use of electrical tools and test equipment is essential
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, prints, line drawing is essential
• Superior ability to identify, analyze, and resolve upset conditions on heavy electrical equipment and infrastructure
