Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused

DZ-licensed Dump Truck Driver

to join our team on an

occasional/part-time basis

. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for hauling

clean fill

to disposal locations from our facility. This is an ideal role for a semi-retired operator, someone seeking extra hours, or a driver looking for flexible, as-needed work.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a DZ-class tri-axle dump truck. Haul and deliver

clean fill

to designated sites. Complete daily circle checks, maintain logbooks, and report mechanical concerns. Ensure all loads are secured, compliant, and transported according to MTO regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and other team members. Follow all company safety procedures and environmental guidelines. Assist with basic truck cleanliness and minor maintenance (e.g., greasing, cleaning box). Represent the company professionally on job sites and public roads.

Qualifications

Valid

DZ driver's license

with a clean abstract. Minimum

1-2 years dump truck experience

(preferred but not mandatory if competent). Strong understanding of MTO regulations and safe operating practices. Ability to operate manual transmission. Physically capable of climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule

Occasional / part-time

based on workload and seasonal needs. Shifts may include weekdays, occasional Saturdays, and variable start times depending on hauling requirements.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
