Position Overview

SCCB Construction Inc. is currently seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-oriented

DZ or AZ licensed Truck Driver

to join our team on a full-time basis. This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects, with responsibilities that include transportation of materials, site support, and equipment delivery.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate company dump trucks and haul vehicles in a safe and professional manner Transport materials, equipment, and site waste between job locations Perform pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues to management Assist with on-site deliveries and coordinate loading/unloading activities Communicate clearly with site supervisors to ensure timely scheduling and routing Follow all provincial and company safety protocols

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid

DZ or AZ driver's license

with a clean driving record Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in construction or related sectors Demonstrated experience with dump truck operation and trailer handling Basic

mechanical aptitude

is considered an asset

Experience operating heavy equipment

(e.g., skid steer, excavator, backhoe) is a strong advantage Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Punctual, professional, and dependable with strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
