Dundee Mobile Storage is seeking DZ driver for tilt and load truck

Dundee Mobile Storage specializes in moving sea containers, forklifts and general freight.

Preferred qualification:

Valid Class DZ license, clean driver abstract, and ability to drive manual transmission are essential Must have experience with the operation of tilt and load trucks Minimum of 2 years professional driving experience Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic Must possess a safety conscious attitude Able to fluently speak, read, and write English Strong communication skills to understand instructions, coordinate with others, and interact with customers Knowledge of Regional roadways and the ability to find alternative routes if necessary

Primary Responsibilities:

Delivers and picks up empty/loaded shipping containers, and equipment Safely operate and ensure ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles Maintain electronic and paper logbooks, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date Load/unload containers and other freight, secure loads, tarp/strap loads as required Communicate with customers and deliver excellent customer service Plan and/or follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch to provide status updates Comply with all relevant traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies May require moderate physical effort for manual loading, unloading, and securing loads
