Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Route Driver to join our team at Orion Gases. This role involves safely delivering goods to customers while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess strong communication skills to ensure efficient and courteous service throughout their routes.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles along designated routes to deliver products to clients in a timely manner Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries or concerns professionally Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each route Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing stock when not on delivery routes Follow all safety protocols, including heavy lifting procedures and proper use of equipment

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts and handling heavy lifting safely Prior warehouse experience is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving items and heavy lifting throughout the workday Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roads in Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
