Seasonal DZ Driver

CLARK AGRI SERVICE is a family owned business based in Wellandport ON which provides inputs (seed, fertilizer, crop protection products) and custom application services to growers in the Haldimand, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara areas. We are looking for a hardworking, resourceful individuals.

Job Duties:

Deliver Bulk Fertilizer and Seed to local farmers Running liquid products for farm custom app Perform Daily Pre-trip inspections of Commercial Vehicles Other duties as required Work days are regularly 7am to 7pm Monday through Saturday (during peak season), however, flexibility is required when necessary to meet customer needs. Overtime is paid at time and a half.

Requirements:

Class DZ drivers license required with a clean abstract Experience hauling liquid preferred however willing to train Minimum 2 years driving experience required (manual transmissions) Excellent customer service skills Good understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment Team player, good communication skills, highly organized, dependable Willing to work long hours during the 'spring rush', not afraid to get your hands dirty! Knowledge of Haldimand, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara farmland areas an asset

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: $24.48 per hour
