Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight and equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment, operate forklifts, and perform essential vehicle maintenance, making it a vital part of our logistics operations.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment to various locations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and heavy machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Assist with securing freight for transport to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and freight handling equipment preferred Knowledge of automotive repair or troubleshooting skills is a plus Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is desirable Ability to work independently, follow directions precisely, and adhere to safety standards

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
