Overview

We are currently hiring a

DZ Driver

for full-time local delivery operations based in North York. The ideal candidate is a reliable, safety-focused individual with a proven track record in driving a flatbed or heavy truck, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle inventory with precision. This role requires familiarity with routes within the GTA area, on a full-time weekday basis with consistent hours, and no weekend shifts.

Requirements

Operate a flatbed or heavy truck in full compliance with safety standards and traffic laws Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; promptly report any mechanical issues Accurately complete all required delivery documentation and driver logs Safely load, secure, and transport metal products to client locations across the GTA Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with customers Adhere to planned delivery routes and schedules Assist with loading and unloading when necessary

Qualifications

Valid DZ Driver's License Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract About 3 years or more of commercial driving experience At least 1 year of flatbed or heavy truck delivery experience Strong knowledge of GTA routes and roadways Excellent communication and time management skills Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and integrity Proven ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines Willing to complete and submit required insurance documentation Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check (if requested)
