Position: DZ Driver

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary Range: Competitive Package + Benefits Coverage

Shift: Starts 7:30am

Description:

We are looking for talented dedicated drivers with exceptional customer service to join our delivery fleet. We provide an excellent training program, dedicated equipment, and opportunities for growth. The driver will be working on a dedicated account, and will be responsible for deliveries within the surrounding area.

Position Summary:

• Monday to Friday 7:30Am Start
• Start and Finish from our Ottawa Location
• Ensure accuracy and record all deliveries on timesheet
• Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner
• Strapping of loads, some hand bombing is required for delivery
• Constant communication with the customer
• Delivering products to various locations within Ottawa and surrounding areas

Responsibilities and Requirement:

• Valid DZ License
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Clean CVOR, abstract and criminal search
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Excellent customer service skills
• DZ Driver Experience is an asset
• Must be comfortable with both city and highway driving, regular tight turns, backup into small docks
• Knowledge of load securement regulations
