Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, along with the ability to operate a newer model Tandem Axle Straight truck (automatic).

Duties

Safely transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Skills

3+ years of proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license Must have an experience letter from your previous insurer and a clean record. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of the GTA area Experience using a tailgate

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
