Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of signage materials and equipment to various project sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and verify delivery instructions to ensure accuracy.
Transport materials safely to and from various job sites.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain vehicles in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
Complete daily logs and required paperwork accurately and on time.
Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors to coordinate deliveries.
Safely secure loads.
Operate a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
Perform local deliveries and pickups only.
Carry out any other duties as assigned to support the department's goals and overall company operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience.
Certifications:
DZ License and a clean driving record.
SKILLS
Safe Driving Practices:
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
Time Management:
Ability to plan routes and meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
Communication Skills:
Clear and professional interaction with dispatch and site supervisors.
Attention to Detail:
Accurate completion of logs, paperwork, and verification of delivery instructions.
Vehicle Operation & Maintenance:
Proficient in operating DZ-class vehicles and performing routine inspections.
