Job Description

We are looking for DZ drivers based out of Belleville On, this is a full-time permanent position, direct hire with the company, not through an agency.

The Details of shift timing are as follows:

Monday to Friday (5 days per week) AM shift
Driver must be flexible on start times. Shifts start as early as a 2:30am start for some shifts during the week.... Example In a 2 week period - week 1 Mon-Wed-Fri 2:30am start (long day on avg 12-14hrs) then Tues and Thurs being 6:00am start working 4-5 hours. The 2nd week would basically be the opposite - 2:30am Tues and Thurs, short days Mon-Wed-Fri 6:00am starts.

The driver will average 40 hours per week OT after 40 hours.

$23.25/hr - $24.00/hr to start OT after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week plus company-paid Benefits and RRSP and Profit sharing.

Local deliveries driving an automatic straight truck, dock to dock, Plumbing & HVAC products.
Freight handling, hand bomb, tailgate, pump truck work previous forklift experience an asset.

The qualifications needed for the position:

2 Years' experience of DZ or AZ commercial delivery driving in a customer service-related industry 1 Year experience driving a 28ft tandem straight truck Valid and Clean Class DZ Driver's License Previous warehousing/forklift experience, an asset Previous experience using electronic logging device (i.e. Geotab), an asset Comfortable with physical work and understand this is not a dock to dock position, they are required to support with offloading at the sites as well as with the loading of vehicles prior to delivery.
As mentioned this is a permanent position, we are looking for the driver to start right away.
Driver must have a minimum of 2 years of DZ experience and be able to drive automatic trucks with tailgate, 1-2 years forklift experience an asset or willing to learn to operate a forklift.
