Highlights:

HOGGTOWN FIRE PROTECTION SUPPLY is looking for an experienced and reliable DZ licensed driver to work from our Ottawa location and deliver throughout the surrounding area.

Shift:

MON-FRI 6:00AM- 3:00PM (start and end times are estimates and may change due to business needs)

Driver Duties

Assist in loading of truck, verify paperwork and conduct safety inspection Deliver order via the most efficient route and document delivery Provide effective customer service and communicate effectively with the dispatcher Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and comply with all company policies and procedures Assist in warehouse as needed (picking/packing orders, warehouse maintenance)

Requirements

Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario "DZ" Driver's License. Must have Manual Endorsement. Must have experience with 10 Speed Manual Transmission. Must have a

minimum of three years commercial truck driving experience in a similar vehicle and hauling a similar product and provide an insurance letter of experience

Boom Truck Crane Experience an Asset. For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 25 years of age Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record (i.e., no major violations) and a CVOR driver abstract (no losses within the last 3 years) Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg (50 pounds) consistently Superior customer service skills Proficient in English and able to follow instructions and written procedures Delivery driving experience is an asset

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
