Dynamic Building Control is in search of an

Electrical Apprentice - Level 1 or Level 2.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated, hard-working individual who takes pride in their work. They will assist licensed electrician with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and control systems. They will maintain excellent rapport and build long-term value-based relationships with customers. With their technical expertise, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our company image and reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the journeyman electrician to complete tasks Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement, or repair Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Other duties as assigned

Beneficial Skills and Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required Completion of 1st or 2nd level Electrical Program Service experience is considered an asset Exceptional communication skills to work within our team and communicate directly with customers Strong organizational skills Experience working with building controls is considered an asset Committed to promoting and supporting a safe work environment Must have a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract
