Job Summary



This role efficiently and profitably manages and directs passenger service activities by providing a safe and productive working environment for ground handling services to its customers and staff alike.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all of Swissport's corporate and airline safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards. Efficient Resource Planning (manpower, equipment) and managing scheduling, Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities, Provide support to front-line staff and management. Resolve issues promptly. Coach and train all employees to improve operations effectively, Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures, Accurately perform general payroll updates such as wage adjustments, vacation, banked time, monetary adjustments, etc... Administer new hires, recalls, terminations, and changes via the Dayforce system, Maintain, monitor, and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) Conduct full investigations on irregularities, accidents, or complaints as per our standard reporting requirements. Ensure senior management is promptly informed of important issues, such as flight irregularities.

Qualifications and Competencies

Minimum 3 years of passenger service supervisory experience, Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French. Excellent knowledge of passenger service Operations, Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security background check, Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, Leadership ability- demonstrated through previous supervisory experience, Customer focus and quality awareness, Ability to deal with conflict and escalated situations under pressure and tight deadlines, Valid Driver's License and bondable.
