The Role at a Glance

As Duty Manager, you are the heartbeat of the operation when senior leadership is off-site. You lead from the floor, support your teams in the moment, and turn challenges into standout guest experiences. From VIP arrivals to last-minute curveballs, you bring confidence, clarity, and care to every situation.

What You'll be Doing

Be the go-to leader for guests and associates across Front Desk, Guest Services, AYS, Bell Desk, Concierge, and Security Resolve guest concerns with warmth and ownership using Marriott's LEARN approach Coach, motivate, and support teams through daily operations and pre-shift "15 Minutes of Training" Manage same-day room inventory, labour adjustments, and service recovery Build relationships with VIP guests and handle escalated situations with professionalism Step in during emergencies, ensure safety protocols are followed, and complete incident reporting Cover overnight shifts as needed, balancing revenue, investigating variances, and preparing daily reports

What Makes You a Great Fit

Front Office supervisory or management experience in a hotel environment A natural host who enjoys being visible, approachable, and decisive Comfortable leading during high-occupancy, high-energy events Strong communication, problem-solving, and systems knowledge Flexible availability across days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
