We are looking for a Dump Truck & Pup Driver to join the Hadean Aggregate Solutions team in Nelson, BC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Haul material from Hadean aggregate pits to local job sites
• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
• Participate in, accept and adopt the principles described in the company safety program
• Conduct pre and post and trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, road worthiness and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of each shift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

As a member of the Hadean Aggregate Solutions team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

• Class 1 Driver\'s Licence
• Minimum of 2 years\' experience driving dump truck and pup, delivering materials
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of screening equipment

• Clean driver\'s abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Capable of performing routine maintenance on equipment such as lubricating, cleaning, etc
• Ability to lift 50lb
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, confined space and heights and possess the required PPE and steel-toed work shoes
• First Aid & WHMIS certificates are considered an asset
• Able to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
