Dump Truck Float Operator

Job Description
Parsons Paving Ltd. is looking to hire an experienced Dump Truck - Float Operator to join our team for the 2025 season.
This job requires a valid class 1 or 3 license and that you can float equipment from jobsite to jobsite, which includes putting equipment on, chaining equipment down, and moving on and off float.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions is required.
Must be reliable, energetic, and able to work well within a team environment.
Must have Powerline Hazards Certificate, WHMIS 2015 training and preferably a minimum of 3 years experience as a dump truck-Float operator in the construction industry.
Wages based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
St. John's, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
dump truck - float operator: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
WHMIS 2015 Certification (preferred) powerline hazard certificate (preferred) Class 1 or 3 Driver's Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
