Dump Truck Driver (AZ or DZ required)- 3 to 5 yrs experience
GCI Construction Group is looking for experienced dump truck drivers to join our growing team with atleast 3-5 years experience driving a dump truck. Must hold a valid AZ or DZ license and have a clean driver's abstract.

This position involves transporting construction materials to and from job sites for various customers, mainly on local routes and short interurban routes. The main office is out of Brantford, Ontario and driving routes would be no further than 100 km out.

Must be able to:

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of cargo. Complete drivers' daily log books by entering data such as odometer readings, dates, distances, cycles, load numbers, weights, locations, driving times, rest periods and hours of service Talk to dispatchers, drivers and supervisors about a variety of topics, e.g. discuss work assignments and drop-off procedures with supervisors Plan routes and timelines to make the most efficient use of resources and time Use global positioning systems (GPS) to locate travel routes and estimate travel times Fill out daily paperwork such as ticket information, hours of work/loads comply with all health and safety company policies

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
