Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Spiral Ductwork Installer with experience in

industrial applications (not residential)

to join our growing team at Unity Recruitments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, modification, and maintenance of spiral duct systems on-site at various industrial project locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and assemble spiral ductwork systems according to blueprints, specifications, and mechanical codes. Perform on-site measurements and layout of duct runs. Cut, drill, and adjust ducts as necessary to fit into industrial building structures. Secure ducts to walls, ceilings, and other structures using hangers and brackets. Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications accurately. Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure efficient project flow. Maintain safety standards and clean workspaces. Travel to various job sites as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience installing spiral ductwork in industrial settings. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (car or truck) for travel to job sites. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, duct fabrication, and industrial safety practices. Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including heights and confined spaces.Ability to read and interpret construction and mechanical drawings. Basic hand and power tool proficiency.

Assets (Preferred but Not Required)

:

Certification in HVAC or Sheet Metal Work.Working at Heights / WHMIS / Fall Arrest certification. Experience with large-scale duct fabrication and installation in factories, warehouses, or processing facilities. Working Conditions:On-site, industrial environments. Travel between job sites is required. Some weekend or overtime work may be necessary based on project schedules.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
