We are looking for a

Qualified educator

in Laval QC

Canada with

at least one year of experience.

Must have updated Police check and CPR.

Responsibilities:

To plan and apply the educational program by organizing and leading free or guided activities; To create a living environment conducive to the physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, language and psychomotor development of the child; To ensure a continuous presence and supervision with the children and to listen to their needs; To choose and use the material in accordance with the activity program and the material must be adapted to the interest and rate of development of the child; To observe the children so as to detect learning and / or behavioral difficulties; To help children develop good lifestyle habits and good manners regarding meals, snacks and activities related to hygiene; Know the state of health of each child in his/her group and provide him/her with the necessary first aid in accordance with the regulations of the daycare; To do everything possible to allow the child to better experience the family / daycare transition; To collaborate in the discussion, planning and application of an intervention plan for children with special needs. To keep the room clean and ensure the disinfection of equipment, mattresses, changing tables and tables for meals. Periodically prepare individual meetings with parents to discuss their children's progress and problems; Attend staff meetings and training sessions; To act with professionalism; To accomplish any related task requested by his superior;

Skills:

Work experience in a school or an educational environment for at least 1 year Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills A positive, creative, empathetic, punctual and loving attitude. Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
