About LumiKids:

LumiKids Daycare, set to open in Red Deer under the management of the ACFA Regionale de Red Deer, will offer a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for children aged 12 months to 5 years. Rooted in a hybrid educational approach inspired by Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework and the Reggio Emilia philosophy, LumiKids promotes play-based learning and celebrates cultural diversity.

Responsibilities:

- Plan, lead, and adapt bilingual (French/English) educational activities based on the children's development and interests.- Ensure the physical and emotional safety of the children at all times.- Observe, document, and communicate each child's progress to families.- Participate in the implementation of LumiKids' educational program.- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment.- Collaborate with the educational team and management to ensure high-quality care and programming.

Requirements:

- Hold a Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification recognized by the Government of Alberta.- Hold a valid child care first aid & CPR certification.- Provide a criminal record check including vulnerable sector (dated within the last 6 months).- Experience in a child care setting is an asset.- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.- A genuine passion for early childhood development and a caring, respectful approach.
