Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywaller to join our construction team. The Drywaller will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall surfaces in residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with drywall tools and materials, a strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to specific dimensions. Install drywall sheets on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Tape, mud, and sand seams to create smooth, finished surfaces. Repair existing drywall, including patching holes, cracks, and other damages. Mix and apply joint compound to seams and corners. Ensure surfaces are properly prepared for painting or finishing. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Drywaller or in a similar construction role. Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and position heavy drywall sheets. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Safety-conscious with knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Preferred:

Experience with both residential and commercial projects. Own set of tools and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:

Construction sites (indoor and outdoor). May involve standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
