Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. As a Drywaller, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that walls and ceilings are properly installed and finished to meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project specifications and blueprints. Measure, cut, and shape drywall to fit around windows, doors, and other fixtures. Tape, mud, and sand joints to create a smooth surface for painting or finishing. Perform repairs on existing drywall as needed. Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and painters to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and edges for a professional finish.

Qualifications

Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing is preferred. Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans. Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus. Strong maintenance person skills with the ability to perform related tasks such as carpentry work when necessary. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various construction environments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the job site.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
