Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywaller/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and methods, with experience in both residential and commercial projects. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients .

What you bring as a Drywaller/Painter

5 years previous experience doing drywall repairs and painting Previous experience reading and executing work orders Experience working in construction environments with own tools and the skills to use them Texturing skills Strong people and communication skills Attention to detail, passion for quality and pride in the work you do Physically fit: able to do heavy lifting (moving materials) and long periods of kneeling/bending/crouching/reaching Ability to work independently or in a team A safety mindset Valid driver's licence and a clean criminal record (we do check) Ability to communicate in English

What you're responsible for...

A drywaller is skilled in the following ways:

Measuring, cutting and installing drywall sheets Tear out old or damaged drywall Ceiling texture, including knockdown Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks using trowel and broad knife Tape and embed joints Texturing of all types Site preparation and protection
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
