Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our team. As a Taper, you will be responsible for applying and finishing drywall seams and joints to create a smooth and seamless surface. This is a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring that walls and ceilings are properly prepared for painting and finishing.

Responsibilities:
- Apply joint compound to drywall seams and joints using taping tools
- Smooth out compound and remove excess to create a seamless finish
- Repair any imperfections or damages in the drywall surface
- Sand surfaces to ensure smoothness and prepare for painting
- Read blueprints and follow specifications for each project
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and painters, to ensure proper coordination of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Taper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting specifications
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques
- Ability to use taping tools, sanders, and other relevant equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
