Job Description

:

CNG Insulation and Drywall is seeking skilled and experienced Drywall Subcontractor Teams to collaborate with us on residential and commercial projects. The ideal team will consist of 3 or more professionals, all with valid work permits and at least 3 years of experience in the drywall industry. This subcontractor position offers competitive piecework rates per square foot, which will be discussed upon application.

Responsibilities:

Work cohesively as a team to complete high-quality drywall installations on various projects. Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. Secure drywall sheets using screws, nails, or adhesive. Prepare drywall for finishing, including joint taping, sanding, and texturing. Apply corner beads and drywall compounds to seams and corners. Perform drywall patching and repairs as needed. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects adhering to company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

A team of 3 or more experienced drywall professionals. Minimum of

3 years of experience

in drywall installation for each team member. Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall. Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications. Good physical condition to handle heavy materials and perform tasks for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with project managers. Reliable transportation and necessary tools and equipment. Valid drivers license and car/ability to get to job sites within The GTA and surrounding areas. Valid work permits for all team members. Valid Liability Insurance.

Compensation:

Piecework rates per square foot (to be discussed during the application process).
